If that changes
We may add affiliate links to some tool pages in future. If a page carries one, it will say so above the fold, the link will be marked as sponsored, and this page will be updated with the date. The rules below apply from the first such link.
- Commissions never decide a grade, a verdict or a status.
- We cover tools whether or not they have an affiliate program, and we say when a better option has none.
- Companies can’t pay to be covered, to see a page before publication, or to change a grade or have a claim removed.
- Sponsored newsletter placements, if we run them, are labelled “Sponsored”, kept separate from the record, and never sold to a vendor whose claims are currently being graded.
Other income
Hyptor may in future sell private research to buyers (for example, a claim dossier on a shortlist of tools) and license its data for commercial redistribution. Neither touches what is published here. The public record stays free, and its data exports stay open under a CC BY 4.0 licence.
